    15 min: design the smallest test

    Limit it to one task, one small sample, and one observation point. Write the fewest steps needed to complete it.

    5 min: make the decision

    Use the pass/stop conditions below to either schedule a validation next week or return it to the candidate pool.

Expected output
One validation card containing: target person, three source links, three prerequisites, smallest test, and a continue-or-stop decision.
Pass condition
You can explain the target person, one real task, source basis, and smallest test in your own words. Unknowns are marked instead of assumed away.
Stop condition
You still cannot establish a project's license, deployment, data boundary, or maintenance prerequisite, or cannot find a safe small-sample task. Stop investing time, keep the card, and choose another project.
