The current static release has no email subscription, account, or onsite checkout, and this page does not collect email. Optional analytics still requires your explicit choice.
Language preference
When you explicitly switch between Chinese and English, the browser stores an aigc_locale preference cookie for one year. It only chooses the language for a later home-page visit and contains no identity or behavior data.
Future subscriptions
If a digest or free asset opens, it will collect only the email, preferences, consent time, and source required for delivery, with confirmation and one-click unsubscribe.
Analytics
Only after your explicit anonymous-analytics choice does the site send a same-origin page-view event. The server derives country and province/state-level region from the current IP locally, then immediately discards the raw IP. Retained anonymous fields are limited to page path, coarse region, a daily HMAC identifier that cannot link across days, and time, with a fixed 90-day period. Coarse geolocation is calculated locally from the DB-IP Lite City MMDB; it is approximate and the database is updated monthly. Withdrawal immediately stops future first-party events; it does not rewrite already anonymous records, which expire normally. The site may still obtain a same-origin cn, global, or none region signal. Only when consent and provider configuration both exist does mainland China load Baidu Tongji, while other regions may load Google Analytics 4 after GA4 is configured. Unknown regions, crawlers, denied or missing choices, and unconfigured providers load no third-party analytics. Events never include email, payment data, free text, or full query strings; aggregate results are not identity, natural-search-platform, or Baidu Tongji data.
